Gas detectors are designed to measure the volume fraction of oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO), as well as to issue an alarm when the specified oxygen content threshold values are reached.

These devices are used to optimize combustion modes in thermal power plants, oil refining, metallurgy, mechanical engineering and other industries where gaseous, liquid and solid fuels are used.

This gas detector is a stationary, automatic device designed to measure the volume fraction of oxygen (O2) and carbon monoxide (CO). It also issues an alarm when the specified thresholds are reached in zones of classes 1, 2, where the formation of explosive mixtures of subgroups IIA, IIB+H2, IIIA, IIIB+H2 is possible, at temperature classes T3 (in accordance with the State Standard 31610.20-1-2016/ IEC 60079-20-1:2010)

The type of gas detector is stationary, automatic. The sampling method can be diffusion or forced, and the operating mode is continuous.

The sensors used in the gas detector include:

  • Electrochemical method using a sensing element based on zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) to measure the volume fraction of oxygen;
  • Semiconductor method for measuring the volume fraction of carbon monoxide;

Structurally, gas detectors include a power and processing unit (PPU), a measuring cell and a probe.

The main functions of the gas detector include:

  • Digital indication of the content of the detected component in real time on the LCD display;
  • A Visual alarm when the content of the detectable component reaches the set trigger thresholds "THRESHOLD 1" and "THRESHOLD 2";
  • Fault indication and operating errors;
  • Data exchange with PC via RS-485 Modbus RTU digital serial interface;

Relay outputs up to 3 pcs.
